Display blindness is a known problem for interactive public displays since passers-by ignore or pay little attention to displays in public. Various theories argue that people ignore displays not because they are not interested in interacting with them, but because they are not interested in all the displayed information. A mobile application that personalizes the displays could increase people’s attention to the displayed information. In order to allow the displays personalization this project implements an android mobile application where users can choose applications to be displayed on public displays.
