About Marcello
Marcello was a PhD student and a research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Informatics at the University of Lugano (USI), Switzerland, from October 2009 to February 2016. Marcello got his bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy) in 2006, and his master degree in Computer Engineering – with specialization in Sound Engineering and Design – in 2009, from the Como campus of the Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis developed in collaboration with the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK), Trento, Italy, and the Regional Center for Cleft Lip and Palate of the San Paolo Hospital, Milan, Italy.
Research interests
Marcello’s research interests were in the fields of location privacy, information security, human-computer interaction.
He also worked in the field of sound engineering, speech understanding and speech disorders.
