Contact us if you are planning to come by car so we can arrange a reserved parking spot for you. Use the address “Via la Santa 5” in your Navigation system to find the entrance to the parking garage.

From the Lugano train station, take Bus No. 6 in the direction of Università / Cornaredo, which will take you directly to the university (technically there’s only one direction anyway, as the train station is the end of the line for Bus 6). Get off at the stop “Campus Universitario”.

Alternatively, you can walk to the stop “Genzana” (in front of “Bar Genzana” near the north end of the station) and take Bus No. 5 in the direction of Viganello, which also stops at “Campus Universitario” but will first pass through the center of town.

Tickets must be bought at the ticket machine prior to boarding the bus (CHF 2.30 for a single journey ticket, or CHF 2.00 if you have the Swiss Rail Card “Halbtax”). Attention: ticket machines may not give change, and not all of them accept cards (none of them accept bills)! Alternatively, you can acquire a ticket electronically using the Arcobaleno app (available for iOS and Android).
